Perfect! This is your best post ever! This post radiates positive energy and acceptance, including self-acceptance. What a peaceful approach to parenting and living. May we all try to follow this mantra each and every day. Thank you!

Thank you Carrie, I so needed to read this….as a grand mum I blame my age for the losing my temper and my patience , for the anger and frustration and then the guilt of caring for my three grandchildren regularly, 2 of whom are on the spectrum. The love I have for them gets squashed by my feelings and reactions all too often, and when they are asleep and I stroke their heads I tell them “I’m sorry” and tomorrow I will handle things differently….Today they aren’t here they are back home with their parents, I feel lost and sad at how I’ve handled these past weeks but your words today have helped and I realise no matter what age, I can look to the next day with fresh hope of beginning again knowing I do my best with the love I hold for these beautiful grandchildren with whom I Have been blessed .
