Yes, simply yes. You continue to amaze with your insight on life with Jack. It’s now soon to be 30 years with my girl, who’s situation also confronts the outside world with lack of speech, or any meaningful form of communication. But the tremendous unending love and joy from her, and for her, can not be described with the words she does not have.
    God bless us all.

Each week I look forward to a new entry by you. As in past entries I have tears. You have an amazing way with words that come from your heart and I can feel it when I read them.

Oh my goodness, this is beautiful and real and sad and true and messy and joyful. It is my life, all wrapped up in someone else’s blog post. So happy to share it with you today.

You crack me up! and make me cry . . . at the same time. My 19 year old son Zak is autistic. I feel like we’re all in this great club where only members get the “inside joke.” I too love and hate Autism. You express it so perfectly. “a dark spectrum abyss where apparently Nicki Minaj holds concerts around the clock” I can’t stop laughing!
