    I love your blog maybe because it is one that I can sometimes relate to. I too am a mother of five – boy boy girl boy boy….this particular blog hit home. I remember when they were this age – you see they are all in their 30s now. But I am proud of all of them, they have become such wonderful caring adults. I miss the days they climbed into bed with me…….but alas, while those days are gone I am happy to say I have 9 grandsons ages 2 months to 14 years and I still get to cuddle babies. Hugs, kisses and puppy dog tails….enjoy it all.

    Well, you did it again! Just a few paragraphs in, and the tears are welling up! I’m actually considering sharing this post with my sons (now in their 30’s), because the thoughts are so applicable. Even though we did not struggle with autism, there were all the other struggles and delights. Even though I’m sure that if I do share it, I’ll be in for some (lots of) ribbing, I think that it will be worth it, because I know that they’ll “get it”, we all need a reminder of childhood, theirs and our own…
