I love the honest way you write. It is so inspiring and so are you and Jack and all the other small and medium people in your life. 🙂

And despite what you think, this was a good list and there were so many ideas and “aha moments” I am keeping and stealing and excited to try!

Carrie, I am glad to hear you are doing self nurturing things to help you cope. It is so important.

I have to chuckle at the black boys comment. My daughter, who is black, makes the same comments about white kids, and kids who are bigger than she is. Not making fun or ridiculing, just her way of stating what she sees. Autism is a daily journey. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you so much for mentioning my essay “17 Minutes of Kayaking”. Because you read my stuff, I started just last night reading yours … and I am now your newest devoted reader. Life is complicated; telling and hearing stories makes us stronger, it’s the secret power of being human. You tell your story so incredibly well. A light touch on a deep well. Thanks.
